About puma engraving machine series:
Woodpecker’s PUMA series of high-speed and multi spindle engraving machines.ROC-Mese developed these machines to meet the high end of the market. They have a high rigid structure design, linear guide, servo motor drives, high speed and precision. Uses our company’s newest SAI-O 4 CNC controller which consists of dual CPU’s (similar to ARM+DSP), the movement is fast and steady, comes with a 5.7 inch LCD display, you have a function to have speed priority or quality priority. An automatic sensor detects the height of the material and keeps track of the work in progress. If a tool breaks in the middle of an operation, the machine remembers
where to continue once the tool is replaced. In the optional dual spindle attachment, each spindle remembers its own starting point independently. During a power failure, it will remember where it stopped. Also, it has the ability to start anywhere and continue processing from that point. When the tool first operates into the material, it goes in at an angle and not straight. This allows for smoother and cleaner lines on the finished product. The Z axis can operate independently of each other. The machine comes with a USB memory stick and connector and also has internal memory as well.
At present the PUMA comes in the following varieties: 6590, 1208, 1212, 1318, 1325. The 6590, 1208 and 1212 have a cast iron bed as an option. Other options include vacuum table and dust collector.
The machines are suitable for three-dimensional engraving such as signs, wood furniture, aluminum and steel engraving and cutting. |
